        why? if I do Package/package/packages/Packages it’s likely not to hit if it doesn’t match the letter case correctly or if I added the s when it shouldn’t be there.

        it’s definitely going to hit ackag , and I don’t have to write as much.

          It definitely will work and is efficient, it just feels cursed

          I’d to just run <command> | grep -i "package", feels more intuitive for me.

          But again, nothing wrong with how you did it, just feels unnatural to me

            -i, --ignore-case Ignore case distinctions in patterns and input data, so that characters that differ only in case match each other.

              Nothing in this case, but allows for spaces and shell expansion so a lot of people (including myself most of the time) add them by default from muscle memory
