Researchers found a group of issues that mean Private Relay isn’t actually protecting users’ real IP addresses. 404 Media verified the issues do expose IP addresses.

You’re assuming this isn’t deliberate. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s how Cook got Trump to lay off of Apple.
The Mac internet has been talking about this for a while, I’m glad 404 picked it up hopefully we can collectively now shame Apple.
It’s about time they fix the joke of Apple Private Relay. Their support even won’t answer questions about it or try blaming the customer.
