      Ice cream is a bit of an uneven cooler solution, only cooling selective components that might not be involved with any actually productive processes, which may then end up drawing more power if the thermal throttling is deactivated for those parts. So you’d be getting better cooling in total, but it won’t be evenly distributed.

      That’s why things like cold wraps are more effective: They’re water cooling for heat sinks covering large thermal conductors that will reduce the total system temperature and help avoid a catastrophic shutdown.
