The joke of the meme is that computer viruses will use your RAM to do stuff like mining crypto which will heat up your computer. Now the meme claims that biological viruses do the same with your body. This is wrong (obviously) because the body heat is actively done by the body to kill off the virus. I think you misunderstood my post. My point was not that viruses are trying to give you a fever. My point was that thousands of years ago this was true. Random stories were files, story telling was file sharing, telling a story by definition burns energy so increases heat. Anytime you use energy you make some amount of energy which gets burned off and often results in atleast minorly increased temperatures.
