Unplug your consoles for a week in August
The best protest is not to buy their next console.
IF.
I’m sorry if this is obvious, but I don’t understand what that means.
I’m saying that’s IF these people actually don’t buy the console.
Oh lol, sorry I thought that was a abbreviation. I agree with you, most people probably will buy anyway. Compared to the blackout protest to not play what you already own, its “easier” to not buy an extremely expensive new hardware. Maybe existing Playstation owners could instead invest their money to other eco systems and expand, instead buying the new next generation console from Sony. We will see.
Best protest would be to cancel the online subscription and quit buying new games.
Or their current one, as well as any new games.
Current one already sold huge amount and console entered into its end of lifecycle anyway. Most who purchased it did already. So all is left is the next one. I mean lot of people won’t buy it for high price anyway, so there is more or less only the hardcore fans adopting the console early. But if they don’t buy it either, then the console will fail. But… this only works if other consoles have a disk drive (or cartridges).
You know, at this point, I wouldn’t even be surprised if they colluded to make it happen… It’s shameful how all these companies are acting.
