I honestly won’t socialize as much as I should if left to my own devices so I always try to go to those things. It’s hard enough to make friends as an adult without third places. I never want to go the night of, but I force myself and usually don’t regret it afterward. You’re stuck with these people for 40 hours a week, might as well make at least a friend or two.
