Interesting. Just listened to the press briefing excerpts included in the article. They chose two questions from two journalists, the first was basically asking for more info, the 2nd (and I’m sure there were many more like her) asked “why did the president choose to highlight this incident”. The implications in that question are clear and manifold. “Could it be because he’s muslim and black and they’re in league together” etc.

Somebody once said about the American Right that “Obama broke them”. First the tea party, then Trump … more and more often I see what they meant by that.

It’s sad that the USA is now further than ever from getting a non-white or female president.

I agree with what you wrote about Antifa/“terrorist” too, but 6 days later, this article was more interesting.
