what I’m saying is that your partner has a skill issue.
now, there is a trick to it - slice the flesh first. don’t just grab a half and start squeezing - you have to give it structure that wants to easily slip out. do a grid pattern and the pillars just pop right out. this is, in my experience, the least effort method to get avocado into a nice guac situation. slice and dice, squeeze into bowl, mash with fork. minimum number of utensils.
