A lot of ‘former’ activists I know have been relatively quiet the past year because they’re reorienting to the fact it is going to take a complete revolution that utterly disrupts global trade and supply lines.
People have been doing the relatively quiet work of divesting from capitalism itself. Learning first aid or food preserves or a functional anarchic form of justice don’t make the news, but they mean that in the upcoming crises the left can fill the gap while states and fascists and corporations struggle.
They better be learning how to shoot, secure an area, plan patrols and monitor activity beyond, scout, booby traps, explosives,
List goes on. The right is doing this.
