Zoomed in to check the Edifier (I’ve had a pair for nearly a decade and LOVE it), smirked at the Bad Dragons.
Power move not hiding the sex toys
Those are my dragons! Rawr
Woof :3
Interesting light rods on the case behind your screen :3
Haha you fool, now I know your ip address. Nah but it looks nice, btop is the most aesthetic system resources monitor I’ve seen so far
It may be weird to have static local IP there in status bar, but it surprisingly helpful. Wanna connect to emby? Here ip. Wanna connect ssh? Here your ip. Wanna transfer some files from other pc\phone - you guess it, here your ip.
Love itttt
Nice screen, which one is it ?
Monitor?
LG C2 48’
Oled, 4k 120hz, supports VRR and HDR10 (if you manage to display it, that is) CEC and other features. I haven’t managed to make CEC work tho, I blame my display port to HDMI adapter that missing correct pin (cec-ctl does show it and apparently recognize it, but can’t send signals). Also, cause it’s technically a TV, lg decided that automatic turning on and off without CEC is prohibited. So I had to root the damn thing, find exact endpoints that used for mobile app and trigger turning on\off that way. Dunno if it’s “correct” way of doing so, but I don’t think there any other solution on the internet (maybe I need to upload script to github, lol).
Overall it’s okay’ish gaming monitor, delay is almost non existent, resolution amazing and recently even HDR started working on linux. But I would advise to look at monitors with similar price instead, cause:
- You won’t need to deal with LG account crap (for example to install\update apps or even acquiring developer mode - you need to sign in + for developer mode also sign in on their web site and I wasn’t able to do so, so I had to root damn thing - that was way easier for some reason)
- No “smart tv” features like constant updates, “oh, smart fridge from other flat wants to connect to your device!” and crap like that
- Turn on\off just works with your pc, no need to manually do so or use weird scripts
Also, bought monitor “arm” recently and it costed me like, 200 euro :c Looks amazing tho

48 inch… holy, for me like 14 inch very enough or even less
does oled isnt hurt eyes? for me all oleds are toxic to eyes like too vivid, too unnatural, love my miniled screen sooo much
also those smart tv proprietary sux are crime
github sux
does oled hurt eyes
No, not really. It can provide more strain on the eyes due to higher peak brightness, but beyond that - it just a screen.
also those smart tv proprietary sux are crime
It is what it is
