We’re in what I think of as the twilight of summer. This twilight happens midsummer when it is the hottest and the sun is shining the brightest. The shades are pulled down, the sunroom is closed and its doors covered. The inside of the house becomes twilight in the middle of the day to fight the summer heat.

There is a construction site about 100m from my house and they are playing very loud very bad music. Objectively bad. Every single song has the exact same canned bass line. It is driving me crazy.
