You can rent a pretty big and nice house with a large property in a nice area for $2000. $500 is enough for 2bed apartment in the nicest areas of the city near the beach and have an ocean view. From my understanding a lot of places around the world are similarly priced and areas like Germany and the US are more so at the peak for costs of rent.
$500 per month is enough in the cheaper parts of the world, but if you can get $1000 or $2000 then you can live a really high quality of life

any state ive been in (yay freedom land) rent has been over twice that, sometimes near 3x. and thats not including ANYTHING else like food TwT
