So, leaving behind the countries that have borders in common with Russia (that might be a little entitled to be afraid when there is an enduring conflict going on) the other countries are just Germany and France wich do not represent the entirety of European culture

I don’t know why you want to leave behind Europeans countries with borders with Russia while the Asian countries with borders doesn’t seem to care much about Russia.

What label should be used them if the only one pink country on the map that is not on Europe is Dominican Republic

Because no asian country had repeated violations of non-combatant airspace while it happened relentlessly in the last 4 years that russian drones invaded the airspace of Scandinavian countries, Baltic countries, Poland and Romania.

And if last week they shut down your airports because a Russian drone was flying in your airspace, if you were to be asked “which country do you feel threatened from?” guess what people are gonna answer? I know it’s a hard logic to follow…

People should read the fucking report.

Respondents are asked in an open-text answer which country they see as the greatest threat to the world. This gives people the chance to choose whichever country comes to mind.

It’s not the biggest threat to them, is the greatest threat TO THE WORLD.

Oh I’m sorry this totally changes the answer, so silly of me. How dare these contries be so individualistic by thinking that a threat to their safety might be overextended to other countries as well… Such a lack of sportmanship

Yeah I know Europeans only care about other white people you don’t need to tell me that, crazy that Pakistan and India didn’t accuse each other or South Korea accusing North Korea or the countries “threaten” by China, not even Taiwan accuse China, only japan-cool

When people refer to Europe in general, they are doing so as a region built by colonialism that today persists in the form they do by relying on imperialism and neocolonialism. Being upset at Europe’s ongoing and historical role, plundering the global south and refusing to pay reparations, is entirely consistent.

Further, “brainwashing” does not exist. Propaganda does not work that way. People generally license themselves to believe that that which benefits them is justified. Russia isn’t a threat to Europe, what’s threatening is the decay in superprofits from imperialism and neocolonialism causing stagnating economies and a rise in the far-right. Russia is a scapegoat to justify increased military spending.

“Biggest threat” is not “one and only threat”. We’re well aware of what the US is.

And I guess the parts of Africa where Wagner and other figleaf mercenary groups are most active are conveniently missing data.

“The data that definitely exists to support my argument has probably just been hidden by foreigners”

        jesse-wtf

The meme you illiterate is “The US is the biggest threat to the world” and Europeans says is Russia. EXACTLY like the data shows.

And I guess the parts of Africa where Wagner and other figleaf mercenary groups are most active are conveniently missing data.

Go to the source to see what bias they have and compare this map with other reports at the same year, a lot of countries without data for this report also doesn’t have data for the others.
