Tunic is an amazing game.
I started playing it over the weekend and it’s one of the best games I’ve played. The combat is engaging and the art/music is great. I love the design decision to include the instruction manual pages as items to find in the game, complete with little pencil marks on some of the pages making it look like someone’s personal notes. It really hits the nostalgia of when games came with physical books.

Oh yeah, it’s incredibly immersive. Got a lot of mileage out of an iPad with a pencil taking screenshots, scribbling out patterns and puzzles and working them out even when I didn’t have the game on. Even after figuring out everything in the manual and getting all the trophies the game still has a ton of mysteries and that rabbit hole goes deep.
I love it so much whenever I accidentally stumple upon my clusterfuck of written notes in my paper notebook.
Found it, but just in case marked for spoiler
