Naver Webtoon, for one, has rolled out an in-house tool named Toon Radar that embeds invisible watermarks in each chapter. When a pirated copy turns up online, the watermark allows the company to trace it back to the specific account that downloaded it.
Even the cheapest versions of entertainment were taken from the populace. Comics and movies started out as cheap entertainment for the masses. Just to spite all of those greedy corporations and tech overlords I am going to start becoming interested in, and having fun with, a stick and a rock.
