If my wife had serious plans to rob a bank, I’m only finding-out because we’re past the point of plausible-deniability. The lead-in would probably be like “we’re moving to x country” … and honestly, without that, I’m out.
We’re talking a paradigm-shift that would completely up-end our lives and those of our children. At some point, you’ve gotta commit, or just admit you’re toying with self-sabotage.
My wife is the sort that would already have all that worked-out too though, and/or be considering alternatives like in-patient psychiatric treatment.
…oh, and all of that, minus the psych-ward, is more likely than this happening due to her having a surprise drug or other addiction, but we’re well into the realm of scenarios where no further twists would surprise me anyways, even sprouting horns, wings halos, or random super-powers.
