To clarify, I mean stuff like spying on foreign adversaries and uncovering saboteurs and spies.

Anarchist organizations are actually much harder to infiltrate than Communist or Fascist organizations - this is a known problem for the FBI among others.

The reason for this is that most anarchist organizations are comprised of cells (a small number of people who know and trust each other) and those cells collaborate to form syndicates or unions or communes or whatever your flavor of Anarchism calls them.

Cells are naturally better at opsec because of their non-hierarchical, decentralized, consensus-based, and often friendship-based nature. Also anarchists are just a lot more security-aware than other leftist groups in my personal experience.

In terms of offensive capabilities… trans catgirl hackers.

If I didn’t already identify as an anarchist, this would have sold me.

For me it’s not useful or realistic to talk about some “anarchist country/state” that isn’t a goal for me and that will almost certainly not exist in my lifetime. I feel like any “theory” about this kind of stuff is just bullshitting about the imaginary.

It’s far more important to focus on actual problems in real life and how we can solve them. These are harder questions that ask more from us.

… this is bait, right? It’s just primed for a bunch of—

“Intelligent anarchists? Ha ha, that’s an oxymoron, am I right?!”

—responses. To be followed by some Internet slapfighting over unrelated sectarian nonsense.

Intelligence (/ˌɪntɛlɪˈdʒəns/) has been defined in many ways: the capacity for abstraction, logic, understanding, self-awareness, learning, emotional knowledge, reasoning, planning, creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving. It can be described as the ability to perceive or infer information and to retain it as knowledge to be applied to adaptive behaviors within an environment or context.

By definition, the anarchist society would require intelligence to be created and function.
