For me it was just better support, on my flow z13 bazzite kept freezing the screen, I guess its a reported issue with the display manager. Cachyos doesn’t have that issue probably because its much more up to date so fixes have been applied and they take a while to get to fedora then bazzite
FWIW, I have some nice Logitech peripherals, and as far as I can tell, they do not have a management app for Linux. My KB and mouse are stuck in RGB mode, no custom color and no custom sensitivity or button macros.
I’d guess the wheel itself will work fine, but anything beyond the default controls and settings is going to be questionable.
