It’s tough, they started this project well over 10 years ago. A rotation of modders rather than a full professional developer team just isn’t going to be able to pump out something that quick.

The saddest part is that Skyrim is now almost 15 year old, which makes it 3x older than the difference between Skyrim and oblivion. The engine is older than the time difference between the release date of both games.

Yeah, it may be too ambitious. I donated when the project started, but today I don’t even play games anymore.
