Today, as the Jalisco Cartel attacks Mexico, it’s worth remembering that Paul Campo, a DEA agent for 15 years, and Robert Sensi, a CIA agent, were arrested in December for a $12 million money laundering and arms dealing operation for the cartel.
The DEA and CIA agents agreed to exchange payments for 220 kilos of cocaine and to obtain weapons, military equipment, and explosive drones for the Jalisco Cartel.
The only ones interested in the instability in Mexico are Trump and the US, to justify intervention in the country against drug trafficking… which they themselves finance and arm.
Drug trafficking is one of the biggest businesses imperialism uses to finance itself, as was proven in its war against Nicaragua and with the Contras, selling crack in their own neighborhoods… and it never stopped.
Look at the state-of-the-art military equipment this Jalisco cartel has; you don’t have to be a genius to figure out where they got it:

Unless you have training and the right equipment, none of these are easy feats that any normal person can casually do. I find the way that you are trying to picture them as orangutans/goofballs/larpers is heavily misleading to people here. These scumbags are not your regular untrained criminal that was given a gun to shoot people. They are heavily trained as described by this source:
Another development is an increase in Colombian mercenaries, especially in Michoacán. Both CJNG and the United Cartels prioritize recruiting Colombian fighters, with special emphasis on those with recent combat experience in Ukraine fighting against Russian forces. By recruiting fighters with extensive combat experience, lessons learned from the Russian-Ukraine War are making their way into Mexico.
In addition, recent reporting shows that the Mexican Center of National Intelligence and the Ukrainian Security Servies are actively investigating the deployment of Mexican cartel operatives to Ukraine Foreign Legion to receive training on the use of drones in an offensive capacity, which are then used in Mexico. With the arrival of such experienced fighters, both CJNG and the United Cartel have expanded the use of drones and continue to develop drone programs. This was demonstrated by an attack on June 9 in which CJNG utilized drones to drop various explosive devices on the municipal building of Juárez, Michoacán. These types of attacks will likely become the norm.
