I just rawdog it and let my brain decide
The person inside big bird

I’d not say I get opinions from but some experts I watch, read, listen to to form opinions.
Professor Kevin Anderson, James Hansen and Will Steffan (RIP) (climate change)
Professor Brian Cox and Richard Feynman RIP (physics amd astro pbysics. I can listen to Richard all day :)
Sam Harris “philosophy” (he’s also a neuroscientist)
James Galbraith, Yanis Varoufakis and Thomas Piketty (Economics)
General medical podcast with Dr Norman Swan

There’s a bunch of others in biology, earth sciences etc as well.
I’m seeing a ton of AI generated Feynman stuff on YouTube lately. Don’t know enough to know if this is his audio lectures just with AI graphics, or fan generated stuff like they are doing with Brian Cox.
Either way, I’m getting so tired of playing “Is this just made up AI crap” when looking for a science or history program to unwind with.
I know it’s old man yelling at clouds, but I really wish they required AI slop to be labeled.
If “form” is also a form of “get”, then whichever US empire sycophant disgusts me the most today.
You know that guy over by 5th and G? The one who’s always shouting stuff at anyone who stops long enough to listen? The one whose rants are barely coherent, but as always so sure, so confident, so… earnest? And his clothes, they’re always so clean. It’s like, yeah, he’s a bum, right? But he gives a damn about looking good, I guess because he thinks it’ll make it more likely folks will stop and listen to him.
Absolutely not him. Holy shit. But get this, I knew his brother in high school. The brother is now a big shot at MIT. HE’s the one I listen to.
I get all my opinions from The Big E, personally.
