    Leaves on the trees are turning,
    Yellow, brown and red.
    Smoke from the bonfires burning,
    Curling overhead.

    Here comes Winter,
    Bringing the mists and rain.
    Summer has gone for another year,
    Autumn is here again.

    Although, in actual fact, it is summer or winter right now, wherever you are in the world, not autumn.

      Be aware that it’s not always true that seasons are opposite between northern and southern hemispheres, Australian seasons start 1 December (summer), 1 March (autumn), 1 June (winter), 1 September (Spring); Europe and America change on the solstice or equinox 20 or 21 days later
