Thanks 💖 The X200 was a gift from a colleague back in the late 2010s, when it was already very old. But it runs Plan 9 beautifully :) I’ve been tinkering with it with the vague idea of switching to it from FreeBSD as a daily driver. I think maybe I could do without Emacs but I just need a “real” Web browser too much to make the switch.
Super fast, in fact it’s as responsive as my Framework 13 running either Linux or FreeBSD. But it’s running 9front, a fork of the Plan 9 operating system - so it’s much lighter-weight than either of those OSs.
And modern browsers like Firefox are so slow as to barely usable on that hardware; I was running Haiku on it prior.

Did you get the audio working on it in Haiku? Thats the only thing keeping me from running it on one of my 130s.
@duncan_bayne i kinda had that problem on my thinkpad where its so slow and it cant handle brave so i had to use firefox
