I think the biggest thing would be to allow learning to not be lost between generations. Humans make the same mistakes, have the same weaknesses, are exploitable in the same way all throughout history. It’s a tragedy of the human condition.

If we were an intelligent species that actually respected the Earth and our fellow living things, it could actually be quite nice here I think.
