        Did you know the Shanghai maglev trains can travel at 460 km/h? They have gone even faster, but that was on special test tracks, and they’re the only trains in the world that use mag lev, and…

          With those speeds it must be impossible to add curves to the track. With some back of the napkin calculations, a force of 1g can be felt with a turn radius of 1.7 km. And a track with multiple stops doesn’t let the train go as fast. It may be delegated to a straight shot from one side of the country to the other with a stop in the middle
