I can atest to this, sock dreams is great for tall socks.
Since moving to europe, I haven’t found an equivalent to their catolog
Thigh highs, nay all socks, ought to post the unstretched and stretched length from toe to top, in cm. Then the person can make allowance for their own foot size and leg width and length to determine how high they’ll come up on them.
Its not so much the length as the diameter, at least in my case. Got them Chun-Li thighs.
I went looking for “thigh highs plus size” and found this site, SockDreams.
They looked cute and possible. I’m not a sock wearer myself nowadays, preferring a long dress with sandals for airflow (postmenopause hot stretches) but I’ve always had heavy thighs, from long before they were acceptable, so I sympathize.

I think I was a little surprised by the texture of the ones I got, maybe I was expecting a denser knit? Or maybe stretchier? Still fun to wear on the odd occasion, very effective for Rust programming.

Honestly, try buying women’s pants. I struggled forever trying to find pants that would fit over my thighs, and when I transitioned and started buying women’s pants and suddenly every pair of pants fit perfectly.
I need usable front pockets! Where I work requires every client entering to flip out there front pockets. I quickly learned all the memes were true.
Returned my ill-fitting online jeans to a brick and mortar location yesterday and was able to try things on. Have new jeans that fit (until I wash them).
