Today I learnt that at beehaw.org you don’t really have to break any instance/community rules to have your comments removed by the admin. In their wiki page they wrote over the top, corporate-sounding articles about how “Beehaw aspires to be a diverse place” where “everyone plays an important role in that mission”, how they are against Reddit-style power mods and in favour of fair moderation, but the reality seems to be quite the opposite.

I’m really glad Lemmy is not Reddit and there’s always plenty of alternatives, which makes me appreciate Lemmy even more. No more yellow icons on my communities subscription list. 🏸🐝

    Try unilem. They have a policy of not defederating from other servers and as long as it’s legal it’s good to go. In other words they treat you like an adult who can decide for yourself what you want to see and read online.
