In perspective: making public transport free in NL is around 4 billion per year. Forgiving all the student debt of my generation, who have been royally fucked by it, would be around a 25 billion. There seems to be no money for this.

Yeah it seems we have finally found where all the money for healthcare, education, public transport, housing etc. is going to. Glad we have figured this out since our officials apparantly seem to not notice an amount of 10x of what they had in mind going to these companies
