Thinking “it’s going to suck so much forgetting to do this this thing” as I receive important information.

I had a really witty comment for this. It’ll come back to me in a second.

This is so accurate. I also get the feeling that the memory is removed even faster if I cared in any way about it.

The best idea I’ve had in a month is lost like water in a desert as soon as something/someone interrupts me from jotting it down.

I will forget as I’m immediately getting the pen and paper to write it down. Happens way too often.

Ah shit man, you eventually kinda get used to it. Life’s really about enjoying and experiencing the moment you’re in as best you can, as often as you can, as long as you’re able. If you can manage that, you’ll at least know you have savored those smudges in the rear-view. A piece of advice is to make sure you have devices to record and hold on to as much as you can, back things up always! Don’t be afraid/surprised if going back and seeing something you though you had lost completely in those records makes you feel strongly emotional.

Wait that’s not a universal experience? I have ADD with no H and I experience this regularly but I thought most people had this

Not that it matters much, but I think these days it’s all called ADHD but with three subtypes: Inattentive (which would be ADD), Hyperactive, or Combined (which is the most common).

This happens to me a tone, while lying in bed thinking over problems/topics from the day.

Thinking through something, gets distracted by a random thought; damn, what was I just thinking about??? Then I lay there for a bit feeling lost.
