    The problem is not simply solved or even significantly so with a mere “don’t tell the pigs anything”

    Nowhere is this being touted as a solution to the entire problem, this is advice on how to act in a specific situation, and again, a call on people to make that choice on where they stand, now, because now is the time, not once they’re knocking on your door, then it’s too late to start considering how to act (and if someone has already decided to, or hasn’t but defaults to being a collaborator, they get lumped up with the fascists they enable).
