The probes are running out of fuel, so they’re not going to have enough energy to keep operating their systems for much longer.
Why would they not have used a better fuel source? Is are they dumb?
Someone close by should mod it with a cheap low powered raspberry pi, simple.
I remain fascinated by these 2 plucky adventurers and became attached to them. I was 7 when they launched and watched updates on John Cravens Newsround (news program for kids) and then also through school, College, University and professional life. Aged mid 50s, they feel like one of us out there.
Did you ever have the Voyager photo book? I was fascinated by mine as a kid.
