i just joined lemmy a few days ago (after having signed up around the time reddit was protesting the api changes), and then migrated from reddit when Sync for lemmy released. And I love how easy it was to switch (apart from some ideas that are different, the fediverse and all that)

Alright. That’s great, but its not the only content I want outta Lemmy… I ain’t join Lemmy to just read about Lemmy clients all day

What is sync?
Android app for lemmy (previously reddit).
Has subscription (which removes ads and enables more features) or one time payment (for no ads only).
Gets bashed / made fun of because of this and because its not open source.
