I was mostly making a joke, but also it’s the metal genre that I think has the least going for it. Musically, it doesn’t do too much to distinguish itself from related subgenres, and lyrically, well, it’s goregrind.
That said, I’m not that well versed in goregrind, so I’m sure there’s some that could change my mind.
Thrash metal.
Too broad. There’s garbage thrash and good thrash, just like there is with every musical genre, metal or otherwise.
Except goregrind. All reasonable people can agree that goregrind is garbage
