All distros combined. All distros are linux. Even ChromeOs is linux but its counted separately.

Same reason android is not counted as Linux, based on Linux but doesn’t behave like all the other Linux based distros
It’s just arbitrary convention, there isn’t a solid taxonomic reason they are separate.
