I really like it here
Seems like the guy has dug up his USA bad folder
Saw the same thing twice on one of those “advertisements”. I guess it’s probably trolling and mostly lack of moderation
This image has been reposted so many times now that the notes can’t even be seen anymore lol
Same. It’s amazing how much time I have when the algorithm isn’t shoving me endless content, trying to keep me engaged.
The art style is really cute, looks great for a first project!
What’s the game you’re working on?
I still have some cool sticks that I’ve found. I need to get rid of them but I can’t bring myself to throw them out
The devs said that they’re working on a new sorting method that pushes small communities up in the feed. I’m excited to see how it will work.
The API changes didn’t really have an effect on me since I had always used the official Reddit app, and only switched to Apollo a week before the blackout. The reason I left is because Reddit’s response was really out of touch and insulting to its users. After coming to the fediverse I realised just how horrible Reddit has become and I don’t plan on going back.
I’ve known for the lack of privacy online for a while but joining lemmy really made me change the way I browse the Internet. I switched to Firefox with unlock origin, started to use a password manager with randomly generated passwords and got more conscious about my internet habits overall.
I’m pretty attached to my username, sometimes people call me by it and I even have some nicknames originating from it. I use it in only four places, but I definitely feel it has become my default username as of recently.
It’s not we, this guy is the only person posting these political memes here. I hate blocking users but posting multiple memes a day trying to push your agenda is pretty annoying.
Before I used to make a few comments a day, which is a lot for me, but now I find myself commenting less and less. The whole vibe is really different from a month ago. When I joined the fediverse I hoped we could make something better than reddit, and I still do, but there has been a rise in toxicity recently. Arguments are a good thing but most of the time they just result in insults being thrown.
I joined kbin on 10 June. I thought it was stupid to have a two-day protest and I figured I’d need something to replace reddit. Then I moved to lemmy on 23 June because it supported apps, after that on 4 July I moved to my current instance because .ml was having problems and that’s where I am now
Personally I don’t have any problems with subscribing to kbin magazines. The only issue there is is that sometimes federation is a bit brocken and some posts appear a lot later on lemmy, and in rare cases they don’t even appear.
Why shouldn’t people believe in whatever they want. As long as it’s not hurting anybody, there’s no problem.
I don’t understand why some people have such a big hate boner for mocking other people’s beliefs
In Bulgaria we have the very creative insult „You’re as sharp as an edge on a round table”, which I find pretty amusing
Definitely agree, some people are just not worth even engaging with.
I’ve seen only NOT_RICHARD@lemmy.today post them. A two day account as well
