You know it’s written by someone who isn’t American when they think your employer will allow you any of your rights. Recently there was a fedex building shot up and the workers couldn’t call the cops because Fedex had them lock their phones up and you’re not allowed weapons.
Our employers don’t give us shit over here and in most states you’re not even entitled to a fucking break, sick days, vacation, time off to vote… and it goes on. You can be fired for any fucking reason even if it’s just that you wore an orange shirt and that is not ok in most states. Then you have to prove that you deserve unemployment and the company can drag their fucking feet about it for fucking months even if you eventually win.
I knew it was written by a non-american when the hospital bill for shooting himself was under a million.
Right? What, did he only stay one night?
This is what I assume americans live like from what I have seen on reddit/lemmy
As an American, can confirm
Only thing anon forgot was having to drive fucking everywhere, all the time, for everything.
How Americans think they are:
How they actually are:
Nobody clapped. Completely unbelievable
You forgot the part where they get offended on your behalf. Like, fuck off man, I can defend myself if I’m offended. Stop acting like you’re the moral compass of the world
I’ve never heard of anyone being offended on platysalty’s behalf
No burger among all the stereotypes? I want my green bucks back.
Many times hollow points are cheaper, especially given how popular fmj is
More like fuck capitalism, especially the ones that have little to no regulations.
