Replika has been on the wrong side of so many ethical lines at this point it’s nuts.
People are freaking out over OpenAI, who spends months doing red teaming and alignment.
Meanwhile Replika is over there scripting their crap ‘AI’ to claim it’s sentient with links to stories (which anyone using generative LLMs should know is fishy as heck) and encourage any and every delusion that brings them a check.
