Yes, but that’s only because with ADHD hobbies are harder to maintain.

I don’t relate to people with ADHD at all unless they’re also autistic.

ADHD is autism’s inbred cousin from rural Appalachia.

I don’t think so, no - I’ve never met someone with ADHD and thought they were like me at all.

I disagree with self-diagnosis and also amateur diagnosis. People with these issues might live life in similar ways on certain topics but their clinical symptoms and treatments are very different. Lumping everyone under big umbrellas creates problems, it’s bad enough that Autism is a spectrum on its own with wildly different peoples under it.

The way autism and adhd are talked about in public discourse are pretty divorced from the definitions in the dsm-5. It has far more to do with identity at this point than anything else. But yeah, every person is their own creature and labels are hard.

Im so calm myself that i have a hard time with adhd people who always talk. Trying to think while someone else is talking is very difficult for me, but some people can appearently do it.

I tried pair programming a few times and it leaves me completely exhausted. I really think it has no place in programming. But many people disagree and they love it.

Well at least now, the bots write the code so I can understand how its more possible now to talk all the time while the bot works…
