Gameloft was intending this game to be F2P on release, but they’ve backtracked on the decision and decided to keep it a paid game. Note that the game still has microtransactions.

Been playing Disney Dreamlight Valley, It’s an alright game and at least it’s not pay-to-win when it comes to microtransactions unlike some games these days.
